We are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Laboratory Assistant to join our fast-paced protein synthesis team.

Experience/Skills required: A good degree or HND in Biochemistry (or equivalent) is required. You must have a good knowledge of protein biochemistry; notably protein purification, SDS-PAGE, protein quantification and protein analysis. Preference will be given to candidates who have proven experience in at least one of theses techniques. Lastly, you must have excellent organisation and time-management skills, and an aptitude for quality and precision work as demonstrated by your previous accomplishments. Scientific Copywriter

We are seeking an enthusiastic scientific copywriter with flair and imagination, to deliver our corporate communications strategy through a variety of media, including press releases, technical articles and scientific brochures. This role is essential to the continuing promotion and awareness of the company’s profile in the life science community, particularly in the Pharmaceutical and Biotech sector.

As a member of the marketing team you will also play a significant part in other marketing activities, which include:

  • Marketing communications through email campaigns, advertising, technical webcasts, sales literature and direct mail;

Technical Sales Representative, Immunology

Location: USA, MA or DC/MD/VA area

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Representative based on the US East Coast (preferably Boston or MD area) and working from home, to join our Sales & Marketing team to be responsible for the United States & Canada territory.

You will

  • Manage the sales process for accounts across North America, primarily via telephone and email

  • Carry out visits to key prospects and customer accounts to close sales as well as to determine novel technical applications and product development / collaborative opportunities

  • Identify and follow up on new and existing sales and respond to customer enquiries

  • Communicate to our customers the relevance of our products to their work, including features, benefits, quality, and availability of technical services and support through a mix of technical seminars and 1-2-1 meetings

  • Attend and carry out formal presentations at immunology exhibitions and shows to promote our products and services

  • Carry out sales analysis and contribute to the development and execution of the annual sales plan

  • Work closely with our sales and technical support team in the United Kingdom, mainly communicating via email and telephone

You will have a Ph.D. in Immunology, Biochemistry or similar subject and a good understanding of cellular immunity is essential. Successful candidates will ideally have at least 1-2 years of experience in sales in the life-science area or, as a minimum requirement, previous experience in a customer-facing role. In addition, you will demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills, have a self-starting attitude, be able to manage your time effectively and have a natural enthusiasm for sales.

Although this position will require some moderate travel (up to 30%) it will mainly be home-office based. This position will involve an initial 2 – 4 week training period in the UK (you will require a passport to travel to the UK). If you are not a US citizen you need to have a Green Card.

Customer Service Specialist, Immunology

Location: Oxford, UK

Based in Oxford and reporting to the Director of Sales, you will provide front-line service primarily to our customers. Responsibilities include:

  • rapid and expert front-line response to customer enquiries

  • preparation of complex cellular analysis and epitope discovery service proposals

  • being an expert primary point-of-contact for ProImmune services

  • provide product and service updates to customers

  • customer follow-up calls

  • collection of customer feedback and analysis

  • full compliance with our Quality Management System

  • communication to our customers of the relevance of our products to their work, including features, benefits, quality, and availability of technical services and support

  • work closely with our sales team in Europe and the USA, mainly communicating via email and telephone to provide a superior service

With a PhD in Biochemistry, Immunology or similar subject you will have at least 2 years of hands-on lab-experience preferably including cellular analysis techniques in such areas as flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and ELISpot analysis. Prior experience in a customer service role (not necessarily science) would be an advantage but is not essential. In addition, you will demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills, have a self-starting attitude, be able to manage your time effectively and have a natural enthusiasm for customer relations. This job can also offer the possibility of moving into a full-time sales role at a later stage.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Laboratory Assistant to join our expanding Cellular Services team.

Experience/skills required: Degree qualification in Immunology, Biochemistry or similar biological science discipline, and hands-on experience in cellular analysis techniques such as flow cytometry, intracellular cytokine staining, and ELISPOT analysis. Prior experience in mammalian tissue culture techniques is essential, preferably working to Biosafety Level 2+ standards. You must have excellent organisation and time-management skills and an aptitude for quality and precision work.

Research Scientist, Immunological Products and Services

Location: Oxford, UK

You will play a key role in the development of new immunological products and services. You will work as part of a team but also be able to work independently. In addition, you will need to have the flexibility and foresight to take projects from conception through to production.

Experience/skills required: Preferably educated to PhD level in Biochemistry, Immunology or related scientific discipline, you will have in-depth knowledge of protein biochemistry, cellular immunology, assay development, and at least three years of lab experience. Experience and theoretical knowledge of Mass Spectrometry is highly desirable. Successful candidates will ideally have significant experience in an industrial setting and show a natural enthusiasm for working in a customer-focussed environment.
