We are seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic Sales and Office Administrator to support our busy sales and marketing office. You will be the first point of contact for customers around the world, carry out sales order processing, invoicing and credit control, as well as general office administration tasks, such as telephone reception and travel booking. In addition you will support all our marketing activities, including assisting in organising and executing marketing campaigns, organising international conference attendance and help to manage our website content. This includes working with our customer relationship management software to organise in- and out-bound communications as well as data handling and database maintenance. 

Candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills, and have a strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including advanced MS Excel features as well as at least basic knowledge of website deployment including HTML. Experience with SAGE accounting software, CRM software and some science knowledge would also be an advantage.


Research Scientist

Location: Oxford, UK

We are seeking an experienced and highly-motivated Research Scientist to join our R&D team. You will play a key role in the development of new immunological products and services and will be required to interact across teams internally and well as with external parties. The work will require the ability to fit in well as part of a team but also to work independently. You may also be involved with aspects of GxP regulatory compliance.

Experience/skills required: Preferably educated to PhD level in Biochemistry, Immunology or related scientific discipline, with a strong publication record. You will need to have in-depth knowledge of protein biochemistry, molecular biology, molecular and cellular immunology and assay development. Experience in antibody engineering, protein-protein interaction and binding affinity measurements would be highly desirable.

We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion. Experience in supervising the work of others and managing suppliers would also be an advantage. You will need to demonstrate a self-starting attitude, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, original thinking and the ability to work to tight deadlines.


Protein Biochemistry Team Leader

Location: Oxford, UK

We are seeking a highly-motivated Protein Biochemistry Team Leader with primary responsibility for ensuring that our core product processes run smoothly, and deliver high quality products to our customers. The successful candidate will report directly to senior management and have direct line management responsibility for 3-5 team members. The scope of the role is varied and encompasses technical, operations and team management aspects.

In particular you will:

  • Ensure that work orders are processed and delivered on time

  • Supervise the lab work and duties of team members, as well as provide training and support where needed

  • Contribute to research work relating to development of new products as well as application support for existing products

  • Continuously improve our production processes in line with technological best practice and contribute to developing in-house expertise in specialist techniques

  • Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships; source input materials and equipment for our products

  • Maintain links with other internal departments to form collaborations, share resources and data

  • Manage operational aspects including equipment maintenance, budgeting and stock tracking

  • Maintain and improve quality control systems in compliance with our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.

We are keen to receive applications from candidates with skills in one or more of the following areas:

  • Wide range of protein biochemistry techniques

  • Molecular biology, including cloning for recombinant protein expression

  • Multi-parameter flow cytometry and other specialist cytometry assays

  • Knowledge of regulatory standards such as ISO, GLP or GCP.

This role would suit a candidate who is scientifically trained to Ph.D. or at least post-graduate level in biochemistry or related subject area. The ideal candidate needs to have strong analytical skills, a good eye for detail and excellent IT skills. In addition, he/she should be able to demonstrate a systematic approach to their work and ability to plan and manage projects from conception to completion. Prior experience supervising the work of others would be an advantage, as would previous exposure to working in a customer-focused environment.


Laboratory Assistant (Cellular Services)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Laboratory Assistant to join our Cellular Services team. The successful candidate will be involved in carrying out our unique range of cellular assays involving flow cytometry, intracellular cytokine staining, and ELISPOT analysis.

Ideal candidates should be degree-qualified in Biochemistry or a similar biological science discipline, coupled with good hands-on experience in tissue culture. In addition preference will be given to applicants who have experience in cellular techniques such as flow cytometry, or protein analysis techniques such as ELISA. Prior experience of working to GxP regulatory standards would also be an advantage. You must have excellent organisation and time-management skills and an aptitude for quality and precision work.


Immunology Sales Specialist (China)

Location: Initially in the UK with the possibility of moving to mainland China in 1-2 years

We are seeking a highly motivated Chinese/English bilingual Immunology Sales Specialist to join our Sales & Marketing team to be responsible for developing sales in China and Taiwan.


You will:

  • manage the sales process for accounts across your territory

  • carry out local and international visits to key prospects and customer accounts to develop and close sales, as well as to determine market trends, novel technical applications and product development  / collaborative opportunities

  • attend and carry out formal presentations at immunology exhibitions and conferences to promote our products and services

  • identify and develop new and existing sales opportunities and respond to customer enquiries

  • demonstrate leadership with an ability to constructively challenge our customers’ thinking
  • work with our customers to structure solutions for them based on our products and services that best address their often complex and multi-faceted needs
  • carry out sales analysis and contribute to the development and execution of the annual sales plan

  • work closely with other members of the sales and customer service team world-wide


Education/experience/skills required:

  • preferably Ph.D. and at least a bachelor’s degree in Immunology, Biochemistry or similar subject

  • good understanding of molecular and cellular immunology and protein biochemistry

  • two years of experience in sales or at least a customer-facing role, ideally for biotech products or services

  • full command of English and Chinese/Mandarin

  • The position could suit a Chinese national/permanent resident who is currently resident in the UK and who wishes to return to China in the next 1-2 years


We are searching for a candidate who has the ability to creatively and proactively identify and develop sales opportunities around projects that often have complex requirements in organizations with multiple stakeholders. In addition, you will demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills, an ability to adapt to different business cultures and have a self-starting attitude, be able to manage your time effectively and have a natural enthusiasm. This position will involve a significant amount of travel (up to 40%).
