We are seeking an experienced Accounts and Office Administrator with AAT (or similar) qualifications to join our office team.
The accounts responsibilities include all aspects of bookkeeping, including: sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control, bank reconciliations, monthly management accounts, expenses / petty cash / credit cards, HMRC returns, payroll preparation, liaising with benefit providers and auditors for preparation of annual accounts. Knowledge of cross-currency transactions would also be useful. Additional office administration duties include HR support, arranging mail forwarding, maintaining office supplies and facilities management.
You should have familiarity and good working knowledge of all the duties stated and demonstrate a self-starting attitude, excellent communication and organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail with an ability to take ownership of the role with minimal supervision. We are seeking enthusiastic and self-motivated Graduate Scientists to join our scientific laboratory team. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work in a range of scientific areas in our laboratories, depending on prior experience, including on our unique range of cellular assays involving flow cytometry, intracellular cytokine staining, and ELISPOT analysis, as well as on our protein synthesis and molecular biology processes.
You should be degree-qualified in Biochemistry or a similar biological science discipline. Good hands-on experience in tissue culture is highly preferred. Experience in any one or more of the following techniques will be an advantage: protein expression, purification, and analysis, such as ELISA assays, molecular cloning, and other molecular biology techniques, cell-based assays, such as flow cytometry and ELISpot. You must have excellent organisation and time-management skills and an aptitude for quality and precision work.

We are seeking an experienced and highly-motivated Research Scientist to join our R&D team. You will play a key role in the development of new products and services and will be required to interact across teams internally and well as with external parties. The work will require the ability to fit in well as part of a team but also to work independently.
Experience/skills required: Preferably educated to PhD level in Biochemistry, Immunology or related scientific discipline, with a strong publication record. You will need to have in-depth knowledge of protein biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology and assay development. Experience in protein engineering, protein production, protein-protein interaction measurements and molecular and cellular immunology would be highly desirable.
We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion. Experience in supervising the work of others and managing suppliers would also be an advantage. You will need to demonstrate a self-starting attitude, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, original thinking and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
