Ankyrons^®

Ankyrons^® are small (15kDa) single-domain binding proteins based on an ankyrin repeat scaffold which overcome many of the constraints of research antibodies. Their reduced size delivers key advantages for close proximity labelling, tissue penetration and intracellular access. Ankyrons^® are suitable for the same applications as antibodies and can be used together with existing antibody reagents. Generated via in vitro ribosome display, Ankyrons are animal free, lack an Fc region and target conformational epitopes by default. Learn more on our Ankyron page here.
